If you’re lucky enough to own a spacious apartment then you probably already know how difficult it can be to decorate such a space and to personalize it. It’s not about the size of the apartment but about the interior design. Today we’re going to take a look at an apartment located in Moscow, Russia.

It was a project by Ruetemple, a studio that really knows how to deal with unusual requests and adapts them to the spaces they’re used in. For example, the apartment needed a new look and a new internal structure and its owner wanted a space where she could relax and get away from all the stress when she was working on her projects. So the team had to find a way to integrate all the wishes into the new design.

So they removed some of the walls and allowed for more space in the apartment. Still, the original layout of the apartment was kept intact. The location of the bathroom and the main entrance were moved closer to the front of the apartment so that the space would be more flexible.

Some space had to be sacrificed in favor of the staircase. It’s a rather small space and it’s almost impossible to fit everything inside the apartment when it’s such a small place. The staircase was designed using a combination of wood and steel which offers it strength and durability and makes it a great accent piece.

The flooring has also been painted white and it looks beautiful against the fresh green of the surrounding vegetation. What’s also beautiful is the fact that the owner opted for a contrasting design for the bathroom. It’s a simple but beautiful and functional décor.
