This is a house that doesn’t impress with its size or decorations but which impresses with its wonderful structure and design. This is the home of designer Jessica Helgerson. The residence is located in Portland, Ore and it covers a total area of 2,600 square feet. It features a side entry with a beautiful blue door, one hundred and twenty-something year old cedar casework, a master bedroom with the bedroom and bathroom, a living/dining area, a bathroom with a shower, and a 4 car garage.
It’s a very beautiful home, with a design that has been inspired by the Scandinavian and Modern architecture but with influences from the mid 20th century. It’s a very charming home, with a beautiful interior décor and some antique pieces that have been repurposed. There’s also some modern influences everywhere you look. It’s a combination of styles that makes this residence unique.
The residence is basically a big collection of rooms, like a huge home. Each room has its own look and it all depends on the atmosphere you prefer. It’s like living inside a giant sculpture. As you enter, there’s a hallway with some old pieces of furniture that still look like home. Then you reach the bright and colorful living area, with cozy white sofas and colorful colorful decorations. It’s an area decorated with bold colors and where the atmosphere is flowing and where you can relax and enjoy the company of friends and family members.
The upstairs level includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a dinning and living area, a kitchen and an amazing view. Upstairs is a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. The two floors are connected by a beautiful terrace. The views from there are amazing and you can admire them from almost every room of the house.
