stone walls have long been popular. In ancient times, the Egyptians used this material for their structures and this is proof for the fact that it is very versatile and can be used in various types of projects. The Egyptian, Chinese and Japanese civilizations also used stone for other cultural purposes and for other types of things, this time for bathrooms. The Romans also used marble for their marble basements and toilets and the French developed the art of marble settling. After being introduced to this material we have still used it to make artwork and even sculptures.
Stone walls are great at making spaces feel warm and inviting. They add texture and character to the entire house. Because of that, they are also used on hallways and in reception rooms. They are mostly used in modern European or Asian homes but that doesn’t make them any less interesting. In fact, a stone wall can always add an original touch to the décor.
