This apartment under the stairs of a building in Paris was designed by Janine Chavanel of Decombaret.

The space, where is an entrance and the only other pieces of furniture are the clothes rack and the table, proves well the constant relationship between that which is in the house and the space or rooms or the fact that its division depends always on living organisms that use it.

The constant connection among spaces and objects or the continuity of the elements, have proved to be a much fruitful experience, which showed that you can design entirely partition walls without the need of thick and expensive and time consuming installations, and that integration was possible not only of·· presentation, but of their use.

The result is this professional apartment with clean lines, modern furnishings, very own accessories, which prove to be great pieces of art, not to mention that the entire space has proved to be essential for the life of this young family.
